Man!

Defo you're best so far! Loved all the synths and the way they all worked to form one beautifully harmonic clubbing song! I thought it lacked energy in parts, but that was more than made up for by the brililant use of synths working in harmony! I gotta say I was dumb struck on hearing it! But remember; the journey is far from over and i look forward to hearing more from this particular NGAP artist!

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

thanks man :)

Just sweet.

You know the rest!

axeFX responds:

ofc I do!

I really enjoyed it.

I think the synths worked well with the retro kinda drum machine kinda like Gary Numan meets Shiribon!, definitely deserving at least four, but then there's the little licks, and runs especially on the bass that defines it as something different and original in the video game genre. That and the border line feedback on the synths definitely make it a 5/9. Seriously enjoyable.

Love & peace.

pheel responds:

I honestly wouldn't have thought a Gary Numan reference would have come up, but I thank you for it :D.
Yeah the synths are a bit strident at times but I liked the effect myself.

Thanks very much for the review :D

Rig!

Everything you do man... the exotic dums, the real urban feel of the effected tracks, just everything. No amount of tributes could express how awesome you are.

Rig responds:

It would sound even better with some guitar in the mix! :D
Thanks for your review, man!

Not half bad.

Loving the eastern scales, and the wierd instrumentation! Whilst its not going to make top thirty, this is still vintage experimentation. Keep at it.

PS: Plz review my nu trak!

love and peace.

Nice!

Those zero bombers suck! This song has an original style mix which grabs the ear and awesome guitar, if lacking on the drum front.

Lighty158 responds:

I suppose the drums could have been a bit louder... or less synthetic. But I felt they did the job. I'm very glad you liked the guitar work. Not bad for computer-composed, eh? Thanks, again!

Man! You just dont stop rocking!

I mean alternative? And trance? Alternatrance? Trancaternative? Digiternative? No idea. Loving the tremolo/ killswitching though! Back to my room for some more recording thinks I. Just awesome!

Elfire responds:

hehe thanks man, always a pleasure reading your reviews.

Gotta say!

It's life affirming that guys like you post stuff on NGAP. Really sweet 7/8! The exotic scale on the wood wind and the piano was pretty sweet, but what made it for me were the minimalist exotic drums. And the solo! How sweetly hoarse, how gradually dissonant, how beautifully virtuoso can you get? Brilliant!

Love & peace.

sorohanro responds:

hey, thanx
usually some people quit listening after percussion intro :)) glad you like it, probably my best jazz thing on NG.
Petre Scafaru, the saxophone player, you can hear on recordings with "Burnt Sugar Arkestra Chamber" and my album too.

I agree with liquid ooze...

If there has to be a tribute Im glad it's this one, with its many layers of synths and its modest drum beat. Some of the sounds you get!

SRT-M1tch responds:

Thanks for reviewing.

Teach me!

How? Just how? So many layers, so many tasteful effects? just how?!?!? Please, did you find some sacred fountain or something?

Envy responds:

Lol, nope just a lot of time 8D
