Get some atmospherics in ya!

Also get some better guitar and bass sounds. THOSE NEED TO BE YOUR TOP EFFING PRIORITIES!

That said, composing shows a great deal of skill, except for the samey drum part which needs less cymbal, and more hi hat work.

Nowhere near deserving it's current place.

It's way too good! It's well written, decently performed and only a little lacking in terms of instrumentation. It's also in the wrong genre. Classical rock= think Queen, maybe even AC/DC, which this isn't! I'd list it under classical ideally! And to be fair, it is neo classical!

I would only say that it needs a bit more instrumentation. Some heavier strings in places playing counter melodies where it gets samey, some atmospherics, maybe even some guitar. That said, it's a very skilled piece. I really enjoyed it.

thanks for the comment, Yea i never know what genre to put the songs in XD, moved it to general rock.

Wow man!

This is great! really great! I'm glad to say, no, I'm proud to say i've seen you get to this level! This is everything a trance tune should be, it has a vocal hook, a nice bass line, good gated synths, it develops well, well produced, really great! Maybe just add a bit of kick by turning up the main gated synth hook, but really, it's a side note.

Love and peace man.

Many thanks dude. I will take into account your advice and see if I can make it better :)

Nice beats, nice synths.

What more can you ask for?

TimeBender responds:

it's the best song ever

This is pretty good!

Although its been badly textured (go back to the mixing board) however the drums really are superb. That said, as one NGAP user to another, people are going to judge you at least partially on the name SO BE IMAGINATIVE! That said it deserves at least an eight, plus a five seeing as itll be majorly overlooked inevitably.

BananPotais1 responds:

thanks! i know its bad mixed, made it pretty quick

Groovy!

I sympathise, and I really think that any genre couldve fitted this, from pop to funk to dnb! Top marks for originality, but maybe some glitched up vocal samples, automated filters etc., would give this the star quality most NGAP (myself included) reviewers bitch about. On a different note someone NEEDS to use this is in a flash: its so atmospheric, and would fit a decent tempo of cut scenes, and well just sounds kinda anime!

Ya I'm still trying to get my name out there so people will recognize the FATMAN. It'd be cool if this got into a flash. The FATMAN can hope right....

Nice! And first review!

Love the eastern sound, original use of scales, but maybe be a less timid with electronics. You went for quite a modest sounding set of synths, but I think with a sound like this the way to rack up the star quality may have been to at least occasional bring in some massive pads to riff away above maybe an occasionally doubled up beat. Not much, I mean its entirely subjective and pretty basic, and I did like the sound, I just think it couldve done with some more guts! Still, pretty damn cool.

NuclearStrike responds:

I make these songs in between my 'Big ............ FATMAN' releases. so these are pretty chill. You can only be Big and Bad so much before it's obnoxious. Anyways, Love, Peace, and Big Beat. FATMAN out.

Drunk off of my faic and impressed!

If theres one thing i know, its that this is epic, even if ive my managed to dribble all over my keyboard!

The buildb up is aweesome, but maybe take longer, and work in some awesome glitchin, but at the same time, you blatantly had so many awesomage ideas such as the beat with bass and claps in alternation and the motif preluding it that it spilled out of the piece beautifully! And impressively!

However, for future pieces lacking the awesome amounts of inspiration which will inevitably come, I reccomend the use of filters and the use of the legendary beats you got going on.

However, criticism of future pieces (whilst drunk no less!) have nothing to do with present awesomeness, and so i shall bless you with the deserved 10/5!

Really good.

Truly awesome music. It had meaning, good production, some serious song writing, and skill showed by the band. It was REAL.

Much better than tea and fucking crumpets for sure.

Nice!

Really liked it, although it sounded quite repetitive, it had a really nice motif, a series of cool beats, and a pretty original feel. Its mixing was pretty well done despite the odd thud on the bass, but i guess thats something to look out for. It had it all going on but it didn't really have any real Audio Jesus factor, so I'll have to be a meanie and give you a 9 and a 5, but the techno feel was something pretty original, although I wouldn't say it fitted techno.
