FIRST MOTHERFUCKER

This is awesome! So Klaplex, but with a more rough edge, kinda rawer. I really dig this. SJD's hot on vox (as ever) but moreover they marry with the panning, modulating raising synths to create a sick club atmosphere. This is plain ill. Would love to see this drop at a club.

Keep it up guys!

Listen to the lyrics guys. Wyze had them, personals, flips, metaphors. B-Serious's hardest flip was that he was an animal, but that's really it in the first verse. Nothing special IMO.

Wyze's second verse wasn't great, vegan flip was great though, BS's second verse was better but all he had was Vancouver disses.

Wyze for the advance.

Fucking yes.

For. The. Fucking. Win.

Gas kinda hit this far funnier, have to give this to the GQ.

Ahhh, its pretty cool, congrats on feature :) Liked the orchestral touches a lot, liked the utterly fucked synth breaks and I can't wait to see what you do as you fuck around with the dubstep shit more and more :)

Some syncing issues on the group vox, and occasional peaking, but really could I give a shit? Lyrcis are excellent, research is excellent and interwoven into the work in both intelligent lyrics and stylistic writing, part writing is solid, but most of all, its convincingly Irish and an excellent representation of Ireland.

Beauuutiful man, and the best of luck.

Adam-Beilgard responds:

I probably spent more time researching than I did writing, I'm glad it paid off!
As far as the recording goes, off-sync: ok; clipping: bad. I was trying for a 'live' feel with the drinking song and it's rare that a group of drunk men will sing in time and on key. The mastering, however, was rushed. A bit embarrassing, to be sure, I allowed myself the 18th and 19th to finish this, and when I realized he wanted these in before the 19th, I stayed up late to get this in quick.

In the end, I'm still happy with this, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the review, good luck to you, as well!

Excellently realised composition. Each instrument plays a somewhat idiomatic line with effective and very Grecian harmony etc. Some passing dissonances to iron out here and there, but hey ho :)

Keep it going man, this is sounding very very good :D

PS: Love the kinda serenade thing you had going on at the end, it really spoke to me. Transitions and bold/ daring key changes brought a great deal of interest to the fore. Some intriguing rhythmic changes around the three minute mark as well! Excellent stuff indeed.

samulis responds:

Thanks, I did put a bit of my own style into it. Although the Greek style is rather strongly against dissonance, I love throwing some in here and there to give the song more character.

Thank God I am never playing this... the F-sharp passage would kill me! D:

Thanks for the review!

It's pretty good, but you could have made it more coherent, put more work into mastering etc. The rhythm/ harmony doesn't sound incredibly Mexican, BUT you're new to this, and bearing that in mind, this bears promise. Some very effective melodies man, keep it up :)

JJM121 responds:

Yeah, I really need to learn how to do proper mastering. ^^; But thanks for the honest review. Really disappointed about it not being Mexican enough. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't seem to recreate the style. Then again, I didn't have a lot of time to do enough research considering I had to make this within 2-3 days and I had exams and stuff before this. -_-

Oh well, next time I'll definitely do more research on whatever country I'm representing.
